Description
Over in the "Aspiring Martians Group" (AMG) on Facebook, we decided to run a little photo competition since we have now been running for 1 year (May 4th 2013-present). I took this photo (of myself) and entered it, and actually came first, which was really awesome.
The armour is "Commander Shepard" armour (from the game Mass Effect) which I made myself. I took the "N7" logo off, and replaced it with the "Mars One" logo and the AMG flag.
IDEA BEHIND THE PHOTO
It's supposed to symbolise Mars One and AMG being the bridge between the two planets, and that they will be the ones to get people from Earth to Mars.
For those that don't know, Mars One is a non profit organisation who plan to send 4 people in 2025 on a one way mission to colonise Mars. I am one of the admins over on the AMG Facebook page, which was created to help bring the Mars One community/applicants together.
